The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is an important initiative introduced by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to promote innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students and faculty members in Higher Education Institutions.
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) was introduced by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, in collaboration with AICTE in 2018 to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students and faculty.
At Siddhant College of Pharmacy (SCOP), the Institution’s Innovation Council acts as a dynamic platform dedicated to nurturing innovative thinking and entrepreneurial development among students.
In alignment with the vision of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), the IIC motivates students to transform creative ideas into practical prototypes, research projects, and startup opportunities.
The council provides an interactive and supportive environment where students from different disciplines collaborate, exchange ideas, and develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
To strengthen innovation and entrepreneurial skills, the IIC regularly organizes seminars, workshops, expert lectures, hackathons, and industry interaction programs.
These activities help students improve their design thinking, problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, communication skills, and business understanding.
With continuous support from experienced faculty mentors and advisors, students receive proper guidance in developing and refining innovative ideas into meaningful and socially beneficial outcomes.
The IIC also emphasizes experiential learning, research orientation, and practical application of knowledge, thereby bridging the gap between academics and industry requirements.
Through its various initiatives, the Institution’s Innovation Council at SCOP contributes significantly towards building a culture of innovation, technological advancement, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility among students.
